Description

LL-37 (Cathelicidin)

LL-37 is the only member of the Cathelicidin family of antimicrobial peptides found in humans. Composed of 37 amino acids, this amphipathic alpha-helical peptide is released from the C-terminus of the hCAP18 protein by proteinase 3. In the field of advanced immunology and microbiology research, LL-37 is highly distinguished for its pleiotropic roles—extending far beyond simple pathogen neutralization. It acts as a critical immunomodulator, stimulating the chemotaxis of neutrophils, monocytes, and T-cells, and modulating the inflammatory response by neutralizing lipopolysaccharides (LPS). It provides researchers with a high-precision tool to study angiogenesis, the acceleration of re-epithelialization in wound healing, and the disruption of bacterial biofilms in persistent infection models.

Our LL-37 is synthesized in an ISO 9001:2015 certified and GMP-grade manufacturing environment. Utilizing advanced Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) and high-resolution multi-stage HPLC purification, we achieve an ultra-high chemical purity of ≥99%. This meticulous production standard ensures the peptide is free from truncated sequences and residual synthesis reagents, guaranteeing the structural fidelity and biological activity required for sensitive research into host-defense mechanisms and cellular signaling.LL-37-Cathelicidin-–-Antimicrobial-peptide-Vial

Key Features & Quality Assurance

Pharmaceutical-Grade Lyophilization

Our proprietary vacuum-sealing process ensures the LL-37 powder surface is perfectly smooth, flat, and delicate. This uniform “cake” structure ensures rapid, clear reconstitution and maintains the molecular stability of the complex 37-amino acid sequence during storage.

High-Fidelity Sequence Integrity

Every batch undergoes strict Mass Spectrometry (MS) to confirm the exact amino acid sequence, ensuring maximal receptor binding affinity and reproducible results in complex cellular assays.

Reconstitution & Storage

Reconstitution Guide

  • Preparation: Allow the vial to reach room temperature. Centrifuge for 30-60 seconds to ensure the LL-37 cake is at the base.

  • Solvent: Reconstitute with Sterile Water or Bacteriostatic Water.

  • Technique: Gently introduce the diluent against the vial wall. DO NOT SHAKE; swirl gently until the solution is clear and transparent.

Storage Protocols

  • Long-term: Store at -20°C (Maintains potency for up to 24 months).

  • Short-term: Stable at 2–8°C for up to 3 months.

  • Post-Reconstitution: Store at 2–8°C and utilize within 10-14 days for optimal results.

Shipping & Documentation

  • Global Logistics: Shipped in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging to maintain the structural integrity of the LL-37 peptide.

  • Verified Quality: A batch-specific COA and HPLC/MS reports are available for every order.

  • Reshipment Policy: We provide a guaranteed reshipment policy for any lost or customs-intercepted orders (terms apply).
